Private Coaching Session
$75-$130 (1.5-2.5 hours) Become more skilled with your pistol. Gaining more knowledge and practice time is important to improving your confidence, speed, and consistency. This time is designed to give you one on one or two on one coaching at whatever level you want to train at. Our instructors are prepared with a set of skill building drills to meet you where you are at. Tell us what specific skills you want to develop or sharpen and we will craft drills specific to your needs. You will then be able to perform these drills in front of the instructor and receive instant feedback. For the most hands and personalized experience, these Skill Builder sessions are designed for no more than two people at a time.
For groups over two, contact us and we will work with you to craft the customized training you need.
What Could Be Covered In A Skill Builder Session?
(the following are examples but what we actually cover will be completely dictated by what skills you personally want to refine)
-Firearms Safety
-Fundamentals or Marksmanship
-Holster Draw Techniques (Concealed and OWB)
-Mag Reloading Techniques
-Dynamic Muzzle Awareness
-Target Transitioning
-Movement
-Recoil Management
-Shooting From Different Positions
-Target Focused Shooting
-And More
What You Will Need to Bring:
-Handgun (at this time Sig P320 pistols are not allowed. If this is the only handgun you bring then you will need to rent a pistol for the duration of the class)
-A minimum of 3 magazines for your gun (please bring 2 unloaded if you want to practice doing mag reloads. Under Measure 114 you are allowed to bring "high capacity magazines" to the range.)
-Quality kydex holster specifically made for your gun (if you want to work on holster draws). Must be retention or friction based, no straps. No Blackhawk push button holsters. (contact us with any questions)
-Ability to carry at least one spare magazine on your person. (Ideally a belt mag pouch or side-car holster attachment)
-A minimum of 250 rounds of ammunition for your gun (There will be 9mm ammo onsite to purchase as needed. Hand-loaded/reloaded ammo is NOT allowed. It is possible that we may not go through all of the ammo you bring.)
-Hearing and eye protection (I recommend electronic earmuffs so that it's easier to hear instruction on the range. I will have some available if needed)
-Snacks and water
-Hooded jacket (It is Oregon)
Please reach out if you have any questions
