Basic Pistol - 4.5 Hrs.

For those who want to learn and grow in their pistol proficiency. These courses are geared around firearm self-defense but also apply to anyone who wants to become a more capable pistol shooter. Time at the range is included in this course.
What We Will Cover:
-Firearms Safety
-Basic Firearm Operation
-Fundamentals of Marksmanship
-Stance
-Grip
-Aiming
-Trigger Press
-Presenting the Gun
-Basics of How to Reload
-Basics of Recoil Management
Unless otherwise specified, all classes/courses will be held at Gun Rodeo/Helvetia Christmas Tree Farm.
What You Will Need to Bring:
-Handgun (at this time Sig P320 pistols are not allowed. If this is the only handgun you bring then you will be given a loaner pistol for the duration of the class)
-A minimum of 3 or more magazines for your gun
-A minimum of 400 rounds of ammunition for your gun (There will be 9mm ammo onsite to purchase as needed. Hand-loaded/reloaded ammo is NOT allowed. It is possible that we may not go through all of the ammo you bring.)
-Hearing and eye protection (I recommend electronic earmuffs so that it's easier to hear instruction on the range. I will have some available if needed)
-Snacks and water (food will not be provided)
